Many voters have already cast their ballots for the upcoming Illinois General Election. The Vermilion County Clerk’s office says absentee and early voting is about ten percent ahead of the last election. So far, some 930 votes have been cast for the upcoming election.
The city of Danville has a separate Voting office. Officials there say some 840 people have cast early and absentee ballots so far. That is ahead the pace in the last election. Officials say there are no changes in local polling places since the last election.
