Flex-N-Gate has announced plans for an expansion of the Danville plant that is expected to add at least 100 jobs.
The Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity last month approved nearly two million dollars in tax credits for the Danville project. Danville officials are finalizing Community Development Block Grant support for the planned. Flex-n-gate officials say the investment for the expansion will be between $18 million and $25 million. Flex-n-gate currently has about 118 employees in Danville.
Flex-N-Gate is a leading manufacturer and supplier of large, stamped metal and welded components, assemblies and plastic parts for the automotive industry. It has 64 manufacturing facilities around the world.
