A Danville man has been arrested for an armed robbery of the McDonald’s in the 100 block of North Bowman. Just before midnight on Wednesday, Danville Police responded to a report of a robbery at the restaurant. An employee and several witnesses said a man had entered the restaurant and approached the counter where he demanded money from the register. The employee stated the man had something shiny in his hand that he was pointing at her. The suspect then took an undisclosed amount of cash from the register and fled the business on foot.
While conducting the investigation an area resident called 911 and advised they had seen a male subject running from the area and hiding from the police. Danville Police located the suspect in the area of Bowman Ave and Harvey St. He was in possession of an undisclosed amount of cash as well as a silver colored knife. 26 year old Cameron C. Creamer of Danville is currently being held on charges of armed robbery and resisting/obstructing justice. No injuries were reported during this incident.
