Authorities are continuing their investigation into a double homicide in Danville, and are searching for a teenager charged in the murders. Director of Public Safety Larry Thomason said a Murder warrant has issued for the arrest of 18 year old Deontae Bright of Danville in connection with the shooting that occurred on the property of the Untouchable Motorcycle Club. Thomason said Bright is not in custody and his whereabouts are unknown. Bright’s arrest warrant has a 5 million dollar bond.
Danville police were called to the area of the Untouchables Motorcycle Club at 106 Commercial about 2:00 AM Saturday morning with reports of shots fired. Officers found three men on the grounds of the club who had been shot. They were taken to the hospital, and two of them later were pronounced dead. They were 23 and 17 years of age. The third is 36 years old and was treated for non-life threatening injuries, according to Thomason. All are residents of Danville. The names of the victims have not been released by the Vermilion County Coroner’s Office.
