The Danville City Council has voted to approve the proposed year-round curfew for minors. Danville teenagers 17 or younger are now prohibited at any public assembly, building, place, street or highway after 9 p.m. on Sunday through Thursday and after 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday. This curfew has been in place for the past two summers, and will now continue all year. Public Safety Director Larry Thomason said the past two summers have been a success with the earlier curfew. There is an exception for minors with late-night jobs.
