The winners of the Democratic nomination for Vermilion County Board in District 9 may not be known yet. Officials discovered late Tuesday afternoon that some wrong ballots had been given to twenty voters in that district. Combined vote totals for the city and county precincts which make up County Board District 9 show Bruce Stark got 106 votes, Diana Brenneman got 90, and Frank Hoskins received 80 votes. But since there are 20 votes in question the final outcome of the race is undetermined. Two candidates will advance to the fall General Election from that district. The Illinois State Board of Elections and the Vermilion County State’s Attorney have been notified about the issue.
